Capital City of Denmark - Area Information:
Copenhagen
All roads, trains, and bicycle paths of Denmark lead to the heart
of the Capital which is a great area for real estate in fact property
in this area of Denmark is very desirable. The Inner City is the
commercial and cultural centre of Denmark; and, if Slotsholmen is
included, also the political. Always buzzing with activity and people,
with Sundays the only really quiet day as very few people actually
live here. Property in this area of Denmark dates back to the early
18th century.
The old city centre is the pedestrian high street Strøget
with store names like Gucci and Prada and Gianni Versace. Købmagergade,
also a pedestrian street, is fast becoming mainstream fashion street
so real estate is at a premium, with the likes of Esprit, Diesel
and Benetton opening major outlets along several local brands.
Amagertorv is at the dead centre of town and often has singing and
dancing by the statue in the middle.
Strædet is a quiet and peaceful pedestrian street parallel
to Strøget and features many local cafes.
